Raffaella Matranga
Raffaella Matranga si è laureata con il massimo dei voti all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Foggia. La sua ricerca artistica nasce dall’esperienza di chi si è sempre sentito diverso e fuori dagli schemi, trasformando questa condizione in una rivendicazione di autenticità e libertà espressiva.
Attraverso tele dalle forme non convenzionali, colori accesi e forme morbide, l’artista crea un contrasto con il vuoto del rettangolo bianco, spesso legato a formati standard come l’A4 e i suoi derivati, oppure alle dimensioni di carte e tessere. Ogni opera si costruisce così in un equilibrio tra caos e ordine, diventando metafora della tensione interiore tra ciò che siamo e ciò che la società ci impone di essere.
Per Raffaella Matranga, dipingere è un atto di ribellione contro le convenzioni e le imposizioni, ma anche un modo per accogliere e rivendicare la propria diversità. La sua arte dà valore all’irregolarità e a tutto ciò che non rientra nei modelli prestabiliti, facendosi portavoce di chi si è sentito giudicato o costretto entro schemi troppo stretti.
Raffaella Matranga graduated with top honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Foggia, Italy. Her artistic research stems from the experience of someone who has always felt different and out of place, transforming this condition into an assertion of authenticity and freedom of expression.
Through unconventional canvases, vibrant colours and soft shapes, the artist creates a striking contrast with the empty white rectangle, often based on standard formats such as A4 and its derivatives, or the dimensions of cards and identity documents. Each work is built around a balance between chaos and order, becoming a metaphor for the inner tension between who we are and who society expects us to be.
For Raffaella Matranga, painting is an act of rebellion against conventions and impositions, but also a way to embrace and reclaim her own diversity. Her art celebrates irregularity and everything that falls outside established norms, giving a voice to those who have felt judged or confined within restrictive boundaries.
