Silvia Zambon
Nata a Venezia, Silvia cresce immersa nell'arte fin dai primi anni, diplomandosi al Liceo Artistico e poi all'Accademia di Belle Arti nella sezione Pittura, sotto la guida dei Maestri Carmelo Zotti ed Ennio Finzi. Un'eredità preziosa che ha plasmato il suo sguardo sul mondo e sulla materia.
Prima di dedicarsi completamente alla pittura, ha attraversato il mondo della moda, collaborando per anni alla ricerca stilistica e tessile. Questo percorso ha affinato la sua sensibilità per la texture, il colore e il gesto creativo. Nel 1995 si trasferisce a Noventa Padovana, dove ancora oggi vive e lavora.
Attiva nel panorama artistico italiano e internazionale con mostre e fiere d'arte, Silvia è anche decoratrice d'arredo per DZ Decorazioni Artistiche e insegna disegno e pittura presso associazioni culturali del territorio.
La pittura di Silvia nasce da un incontro viscerale con la natura. Non è la natura contemplata, ma quella vissuta — impetuosa, magnetica, implacabile. L'acqua è il suo elemento primordiale: si trasforma sulla tela in gesto puro, in materia stratificata, in carta incollata e pigmento sovrapposto, creando opere in bilico tra il figurativo e l’informale, tra il controllo e l’abbandono.
Ogni opera è un'esplosione silenziosa. Luci e ombre si contendono la superficie, la materia spessa sfida i margini della tela, e il colore sembra non volersi fermare.
Un'arte totalizzante e interiorizzata, che davanti ai nostri occhi sembra sfondare la superficie, tracimare i margini della tela come a conquistare un nuovo spazio.
Born in Venice, Silvia grew up immersed in art from an early age, graduating from the Art School and then from the Academy of Fine Arts in Painting, under the guidance of masters Carmelo Zotti and Ennio Finzi. This precious legacy shaped her perspective on the world and matter.
Before dedicating herself fully to painting, she explored the world of fashion, collaborating for years on stylistic and textile research. This journey honed her sensitivity to texture, color, and creative gesture. In 1995, she moved to Noventa Padovana, where she still lives and works today.
Active in the Italian and international art scene with exhibitions and art fairs, Silvia is also a furniture decorator for DZ Decorazioni Artistiche and teaches drawing and painting at local cultural associations.
Silvia's painting is born from a visceral encounter with nature. It is not nature contemplated, but nature experienced—impetuous, magnetic, implacable. Water is his primordial element: it transforms on the canvas into pure gesture, layered matter, glued paper and overlapping pigment, creating works poised between figurative and informal, between control and abandon.
Each work is a silent explosion. Light and shadow compete for the surface, the thick material challenges the edges of the canvas, and the color seems unstoppable.
An all-encompassing and internalized art, which before our eyes seems to break through the surface, overflowing the edges of the canvas as if conquering a new space.
